By boat: / par bateau : From mainland France (Nice, Marseille and Toulon) ferries made regular routes to reach Corsica (Bastia, Calvi, Ile Rousse, Ajaccio, Porto-Vecchio) and high-speed vessels arrive from Italy (Piombino Livorno, Genoa, Savona). It is also possible to reach Corsica (Bonifacio, Propriano) by Sardinia (Porto Torres, Santa Teresa di Gallura).
Depuis la France métropolitaine (Nice, Marseille, Toulon) des bateaux effectuent des liaisons régulières pour rejoindre la Corse (Bastia, Calvi, l'Ile-Rousse, Ajaccio, Porto-Vecchio) et des navires rapides arrivent depuis l’Italie (Piombino, Livourne, Gênes, Savone). Il est également possible de rejoindre la Corse (Bonifacio, Propriano) par la Sardaigne (Porto Torres, Santa Teresa di Gallura).

By plane: / par avion : There are four airports on the island: Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi and Figari (next to Porto-Vecchio). There is unfortunately not much available for getting into the big cities from the airport, other than renting a car, though Bastia airport has an almost-every hour bus service to town for €8, except in the evening where the interval is bigger. The last bus leaves at 22h45.
Il y a quatre aéroports en Corse à côté d’Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi et Figari. Louer une voiture ou prendre un taxi est généralement nécessaire pour rejoindre les villes voisines des aéroports. L'aéroport de Bastia a un service de bus presque toutes les heures pour 8€, sauf dans la soirée où l'intervalle est plus grand. Le dernier bus part à 22h45.

Please note, distances are long in Corsica and take a taxi to Corte can be very expensive : €150-200 from Ajaccio or Bastia.
